Banana Nut Chia Pudding!

Chia seeds are like, the newest glorified superfood out there. Personally speaking, I’m totally on the bandwagon! These wonderful little seeds are filled with calcium, protein, boron, and TONS of nutrients.

Also, they create a “gel” (and if you’ve had these before, you know what I mean) that help you STAY and FEEL full for longer. They’re hydrophilic and for all of you non-chemistry nerds, that just means that it sucks up water like the eternal drought is about to come and they will keep you hydrated SO well.

SOOOOO if you’re a runner or something, add a tablespoon of this (or two) into some water and drink that up for better hydration!!!

Oh, and these guys congeal together to create the “pipe cleaners” of the intestines. Need I say more?

Anyways, this makes for a fantastic breakfast or a snack so try it out!

Ingredients:

– 1/3 cup chia seed

– 1 cup of any type of milk (I used almond)

– 1 tsp of honey (or agave, if you’re vegan)

– bananas and nuts

Directions:

Mix, shake, and let it sit in a fridge for a few hours and enjoy!
